Established in 1996 and owned by local residents, The Restaurant is a destination known for its coastal atmosphere, waterfront location, fine food and special service.
The Restaurant offers traditional seafood fare such as oysters, chowder, fried oysters, and lobsters as well as innovative, seasonal dishes created by Executive Chef Christopher North.
The Restaurant has been rated "Excellent" by Zagat, voted “Best Seafood” in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011 by Darien, New Canaan and Rowayton Magazine's Best of the Gold Coast Awards and awarded “Best Seafood Restaurant” by Connecticut Magazine's Fairfield County voters in 2006, 2008,2009, 2010, 2011. Most recently we were honored to receive “Best Seafood” in Yankee Magazine’s “Best of New England” issue.
